The video is here —> https://youtu.be/tGisWiSkHHI
It’s not the way I’d like things to end but making an abridged series of videos of just me rambling about how the rest of the plot will go….that seems easier than writing it all down.
Be sure to subscribe to my youtube to keep tabs on when the next videos go up! I’ll also be putting them on all my socials when they go live.
Going to aim for Sort-Of Monthly on these updates.
Once again, thank you all very much for reading, and we’ll reach the ending together!
Oh
…I really shouldn’t be surprised, I worried both you and Paranatural would go the way of Poppy O’Possum back when you both announced the switch to prose. But, seeing Paranatural manage to pull off this transition off gave me hope you’d pull it off too and prove Poppy the odd one out, so it still saddens me a bit to see this happen
Still, I’m really glad you’re giving us these videos to wrap things up, most webcomics don’t even bother with any sort of closure before fading out.
I’m not sure I’m coming off right, basically what I mean is… it’s sad, but I understand, and thank you for not leaving us hanging when most others would.
awww, well, I’ll still be hoping for a revisiting of this world someday
it’s a pretty good idea I’d like to see developed tbh
will check the videos out!
Thank you for posting the abridged versions of what will happen.
Oh. Well this is disappointing. I know you didn’t have time, but this is worse than writing your comic as a book. It’s lazy and unrefined. You want people to watch a YouTube video than read the thing? I’d rather this comic be cancelled than continuing on as a concept commentary as if the story is still going when it’s obviously not. At least if it was cancelled this type of format would be… acceptable. Not preferably or even good, but acceptable. I’m sorry, but you just won’t keep the same readership like you had back then.
Look I totally get it, you’re entitled to your opinion and I knew from the get-go that this wouldn’t work for everyone. I’m sure I had similar results from dropping to Storybook Mode.
But I was never into it for the readers, I just wanted to tell a story with characters I had since high school. As much as I appreciate everyone who comes upon the webcomic via word of mouth at this point. And I’d rather there be some sort of idea of how things would have ended instead of being left on a cliffhanger like a TV show being canceled mid-season. Or continuing with even worse quality just dragging along trying to finish things.
My readership wasn’t ridiculous to begin with anyway. Maybe moderate at best. And I’m fine with that.
