Man. Stewie can really take a hit for kitten. Flint seems surprised for the guy who was clearly aiming for Stewie’s face, unless that wasn’t his intention.
The suits make it so they can basically wail on eachother with minimal damage
It’s a bit less muffled in spots like the face
Also Flint has wildly fast reflexes thanks to the lightning abilities so even in that state he can control where he hits just a bit more than others
So he’s just being a jerk because he can.
And we’ve not really seen the secondary out of stewie, outside the swarm. Or really have hadd a way on how secondaries are found for us on matters? Though i’m guessing this is where we are going to get a good time back from this little provocation.
Yeah Flint’s not the most delightful cat in the crew (he’s redeemable but at this moment he’s way more of a jerk than he’s gonna be later)
Stewie hasn’t had a situation where his fire abilities have flared up enough to even make his secondary ability kick on, seeing that he’s barely past 7 months with like a week of on the field experience compared to Flint’s whopping 2+ Years of action. He’ll get a chance to figure that ability out after this chapter 😀
