I remember finding your comic on SmackJeeves and then losing it before the site was sold off to a greedy company who wanted to create a clone of Webtoons / Tapas. I gave up on reading all comics that were hosted there because I couldn’t find them and didn’t know what a bookmark was.
I did distinctly remember a comic about a green fire cat that visited dreams to defeat monsters and now I found your comic again. You have a really memorable concept for a webcomic that allows some of your character designs to really stand out. Kudos to you.
Also, a question cause I’m genuinely curious, did the SmackJeeves exodus affect you or your workflow for the comic?
I was already starting to go on Tapastic and then this site by the time things really started to downspiral on SJ. I preferred Smackjeeves at the time cause it was the only site to allow batch posting all at once rather than updating one at a time like the others. I didn’t even notice when things really got unstable until much later cause I had preemptively posted a ton of pages back when that was working okay and just left it to update (I want to say this was in March/April when I rushed to finish a chapter so I could start using a new program and marathoned the pages so I had a month’s worth) and when I went to add more the uploading process was impossible so I just bailed entirely.

of course weapons explode thats what weapons are supposed to do
Not when the explosion damages the user way more than the thing they’re attacking
