There’s no translating anything to anything. Every cat has a dominant and a recessive ability, and any combination is possible. Sandy is Ice/Teleport, for example. Flint is Lightning/Lightning, Daisy is Hyper Voice/Plant.
Speaking of dominant/recessive combos by the way, Patches has been shown pretty clearly to be Lightning/Precog but the Cast page still lists her as double Lightning.
Fire dominant somehow translates to speed recessive. Sure, why not?

Yeah, mostly cause she hasn’t figured it out herself and is adamant that she’s DP Lightning and hasn’t quite unlocked it yet
